Our candles are home made with Soya Wax, you must care for your wax and be sure to let it burn evenly.  

The first burn must be for a minimum of 3 hours. You must allow the candle to melt across the entire circumference of the wax to avoid tunnelling. Once the tunnelling starts it’s hard to get rid of.

Please also be aware these are hand made so allow for small cracks or rough top wax. It does not affect the burn or scent

*tunnelling is where the candle only melts in a small hole around the wick.

The wick of each candle will be cut to 4/5mm. This enables for an even burn without a smokey flame.

If you find your wick is smoking and the flame is higher than expected please re cut the wick to 4mm between burns.

If the wick starts to mushroom or fold over, please trim the wick between burns.

We use Soy Wax & Essential Oils therefore the turnaround from when the candle is made to when you can light it is 10-12 days. This is because the wax has to fully absorb the scent 

We are happy to send them out sooner than the 7-10 days mark but we ask that you wait the full 10 days before burning in order for the best possible experience.

So many uses... a make-up brush pot, pen pot or flowers etc..

To get the left over wax out, sit the jar in hot water until the wax softens. Then hold the jar in one hand and use a butter knife to loosen the wax. Remove the jar from the water and empty the wax out. Then wash thoroughly out with soap and water.
